A. Frank Ukropec

A. Frank Ukropec , 78, of Parrish, Manatee County, FL and Wallingford, Delaware County, PA, died suddenly Saturday morning, April 18, 2020, at his home in FL. He was the husband of Patricia S. (Korpics) Ukropec. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Ambrose L. and Theresa (Herzog) Ukropec.

Frank was employed as the Chief Financial Officer by the former Wyeth Pharmaceutical Co., Radnor.  He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.  A graduate of the Palmerton High School, he served in the Air Force, Vietnam Era, and later achieved his Master's Degree.  Frank was an avid sportsman, enjoying being outdoors, fishing, hunting, skiing, and photography.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughters, Susan wife of David Knoll of Westport, CT, and Helen Ukropec of Wallingford.  Son, Jon and wife Dusty of Harleysville.  4 grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Frances, Helen, and brother, John.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 18, 2021, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday in the church.  Interment with Military Honors, Parish's New Cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton.  Arrangements, Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
