Aaron D. Bisschop , 54, of Pennsburg, Montgomery County, PA, formerly of IL, passed away suddenly with his wife, Christie, Friday evening, January 31, 2025, as a result of a vehicular accident in Upper Bucks County, PA.

He was born August 4, 1970, in Peoria, IL.  He was a son of Barry E. Bisschop of Taylor Ridge, IL, and Linda J. (Lannoo) Rose of Fort Davis, TX.  On April 6, 2016, he married Christie R. (Kost).

Aaron was employed as a Buyer & Planner for Brooks Instrument, LLC, Hatfield, PA.  He graduated from Alleman Catholic High School, Rock Island, IL, in 1988 and later attended Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL, and graduated from the University of Phoenix.

Aaron was incredibly creative, artistic, industrious, and talented.  He used his gifts in kind, thoughtful, and generous ways such as baking amazing cakes, cooking delicious meals, perfecting pizza recipes, and collecting and making video games.  He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life.  He loved being a dad, spending time with his family, and going on adventures with his wife, Christie, to faraway places like Iceland.  He was an avid rollercoaster and amusement park enthusiast.  Aaron and Christie were Disney Vacation Club Members and treasured their many trips to Walt Disney World together and with Reece and Emilya too.

Survivors: Surviving are his son, Reece Bisschop of Midlothian, VA; stepdaughter, Emilya of Pennsburg, PA; mother, Linda Rose of Ft. Davis, TX; father, Barry Bisschop of Taylor Ridge, IL; stepmother, Marji Bisschop of Taylor Ridge, IL; sister, Megan Bisschop-Horvath wife of Thomas "TJ" Horvath of Lafayette, CO; nephew, Jase Horvath of Lafayette, CO; stepsisters Lorri wife of Tony Cichowicz of Chicago Ridge, IL; Jenny Rose of Peoria, IL; aunt, Jan Veys of Rock Island, IL; uncles David and wife Beth Bisschop of Kewanee, IL; Gary Francque of Moline, IL; cousins, Randy Veys of Rock Island, IL; Jason Francque of Moline, IL; Jennifer Heckenkamp of Coal Valley, IL.

Services: Memorial Service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 17, 2025, St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road (PO Box 2915), Palmerton, PA 18071.  Interment, Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton. To honor Aaron and Christie's lives and legacies, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Sunshine Foundation Dreamlifts Program, which helps fulfill the dreams of children with chronic illnesses, physical and developmental disabilities, and other challenges, by chartering a plane to Disney and other Orlando theme parks.
