Aaron "Butch" L. Moyer, Jr.,
64, of Centre Street, Parryville, Pennsylvania, died suddenly early Monday morning, January 22, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital - Palmerton Campus. He was the longtime companion of Sharon M. Moyer with whom he resided. Born in Parryville, he was a son of the late Aaron L., Sr. and Dorothy M. (Schoch) Moyer.
Butch was employed as a truck driver for the former NJ Zinc Company, Palmerton, and in the same capacity for Wilson Putt Trucking, Treichlers. An avid race fan, he enjoyed Mahoning Valley Speedway, Evergreen Speedway, Drums, and Big Diamond Speedway, Schuylkill County.
Survivors:
Companion, Sharon. Son, Jeffrey A. Moyer of Parryville. Granddaughter, Paisley. Sisters, Betty wife of Roy Oldt of New Smithville, and, Irene A. Ellis of Lehighton. Brother, Curvie Moyer of Jim Thorpe. Nieces and nephews.
Services:
Graveside Services at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2018, at Parryville Cemetery, Centre Street. Officiating will be the Rev. Anthony P. Pagotto. Arrangements are by Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.
