Agnes M. Berg

Agnes M. Berg, 94 of Allentown, PA, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Fellowship Community Villa, Whitehall, PA. Born February 15, 1928 in Lehighton / Packerton, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Gillette and the late Mary (Cherowich) Gillette. She was the wife of the late Richard C. Berg, Sr. who passed away in October 2008.

Agnes was a 1946 graduate of Central Catholic High School who last worked for various Daycare Centers in Emmaus and Allentown, as a Cook and Support Aide before retiring in 1991. Prior to, she worked for the Salisbury School District as a cafeteria worker serving in the Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High Schools. Agnes was a longtime parishioner of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Allentown, PA.

Agnes is survived by two sons, Richard C. Berg, Jr. and wife Eileen of Horsham, PA, Daniel J. Berg of Allentown, PA, brothers, Joseph Gillette of Catasauqua, PA, Paul Gillette of Bethlehem, PA, Peter Gillette and wife Estella of Houston, TX, Anthony Gillette of Northampton, PA, Timothy Gillette and wife LaFerne of Acworth, GA, sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Arey of Catasauqua, PA, Angela wife of Oliver Resh, Whitehall, PA, Therese Gillette of Northampton, PA, and Mrs. Margaret Rawson of Whitehall, PA. Twin grandsons, Justin and Jeffrey Berg, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, John, Edward, Christopher, and sister, Mary Ann Sterner.

A Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday May 13, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
