Albert J. Czankner

Albert J. Czankner , 88 of Northampton - Allen Township, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his home. Born August 12, 1936, in Dunmore, PA, he was the son of the late Andrew B. and Helen (Stecco) Czankner, Sr. and husband of the late Barbara A. (Beck) Czankner for 59 years prior to her passing on July 23, 2021.

Albert was an electrician at Lucent Technologies, Allentown, PA for 37 years before retiring in 1999. He honorably served in the US Navy as an Aerial Photographer from 1956 to 1958. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Allentown. He was an Assistant Scoutmaster and Committee Chair of Troop 93, Northampton, Troop 140 and Troop 102, both of Allentown, PA. Albert was a lifetime member of Lucent Technologies Telecom Pioneers. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome and going to Lake Wallenpaupack.

He is survived by his grandson, Randy L. Czankner, Jr. and husband Zachery, of Allen Township, PA, granddaughter, Tia St. Peter and companion Nathan Binder of Tamaqua, PA great grandchildren, Jaylynn, Angelo, Sarai, and Lillian, sister, Lillian DeSandis of Elmhurst, PA, brother Paul of Moscow, PA and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Randy L. Czankner, Sr. in 2011, brothers, Bernard Czankner and Andrew B. Czankner, Jr., sisters, Anna Mae Doyle and Helen Carroll.

A graveside service with Military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday April 5, 2025 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, located at 1700 Airport Road Allentown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Boy Scout Troop #93, 105 E. 19th Street, Northampton, PA, 18067
