Albert K. Lynn

Albert K. Lynn, 88 of Nazareth, PA passed away on December 20, 2021 at Manor Care, Easton, PA. He was born November 15, 1933, he was the son of the late Roland Lynn and the late Velma (Teel) Lynn Welsh. He was the husband of Sandra A. (Hagley) Lynn.

Albert was employed as a Counterman / Truck Driver for the East Lawn Supply Co., Nazareth, PA for 18 years before retiring in April 1997. He started his working career as a plumber for John D. Toth Plumbing, Nazareth. After retiring, Albert worked as a custodian for the Nazareth School District at Shafer Elementary School. He also enjoyed working part time at the Netherland Bulb Co., Tatamy, PA and helping part time as a Funeral Assistant for the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home. Albert was a long time member of St. John's U.C.C., Nazareth, PA, where he served on the counting committee and sang in the Senior and Men's Choir and also the St. Luke's Hospital Singers.

Albert was a member and Past Master of the F.& A.M. Whitfield Lodge #622 and was a 32nd Degree Mason with Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown. Albert was a past member of the Rajah Shrine, and a Charter member of the Forks of Delaware Shrine Club, Tin Lizzies. He was also a member of the Easton Forest of Lebanon Tall Cedars. Albert served as a Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Calypso Chapter #163. He also served as former Assistant Fire Chief for both the Vigilance Hose Fire Company, Nazareth, PA and East Lawn Volunteer Fire Company.

Surviving along with his wife Sandra are daughters Lori, wife of John Deutsch of Nazareth, PA and Patty, wife of Robert Helmick of Coopersburg, PA and son, Michael Lynn and fiancée Laura Jaske of Homer Glen, IL; 2 stepdaughters; Janet Welk of Allentown, PA and Deborah, wife of Richard W. Garren, Jr. of Easton, PA; brother, Richard Kern of East Bangor, PA; 7 grandchildren, Austin (AJ), Elizabeth, Lynn, Michael, Sarah, Richard and Vanessa; 2 great grandchildren, Adam and Benjamin. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Kern.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM with a calling from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service all held at Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home,  211 E. Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery- Nazareth, PA.

Contributions may be made to the Rajah Shriner's Children's Hospital or St. John's U.C.C. Church memorial fund both c/o the funeral home.
