Alberta M. Bloss

Alberta M. "Dolly" Bloss, 88 of Allen Township, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at her home.

Born September 27, 1932 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Albert A. and Emma B. (Welliver) Strausser. She and her husband Earl W. Bloss were married on December 17, 1949.

She was a member of Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Earl N. Bloss of Port Orange, FL and Mark A. Bloss of Palmerton, daughters, Louise S. Hash of Northampton, Debra A. Bloss of Northampton, and Cynthia L. wife of Frank Zwetolitz of Coplay, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 6 great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Michelle J. Bloss.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM memorial service, all on Monday, August 23, 2021at the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4131 Lehigh Drive Cherryville, Pennsylvania 18035. Masks are required.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
