Alfred A. "Kiefer" Birosik, 89, of Washington Avenue, Northampton, died peacefully Saturday evening, June 25, 2022, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall Twp. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Pordos) Birosik who passed in 1995. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John M. and Mary (Bechtel) Birosik.
Alfred was employed by the Bridesburg Foundry as a pattern clerk for over 33 years retiring in 1995. Later, he worked as a auto parts runner and assistant for Harhart's Gulf Service Station, and the former Was-Den Gun Smithing, both of Northampton. He was a graduate of the Bethlehem Business School, and served in the Army, Korea Era, achieving rank of Corporal, Artillery. An avid outdoorsman, Alfred was the eldest and longest active member (75 Yrs) of the Lappawinzo Fish and Game Protective Assoc, Allen Twp, member of the American Legion, Bath Post, and the Raccoon Club, E. Allen Twp.
Survivors: daughters, Maryann wife of Gregory Morey with whom he resided, Margaret wife of Craig Peoples of Allentown. son, Michael and wife Barbara of New Ringgold. 8 grandchildren. 6 great grandchildren. numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Anna Keiser, Cecilia Megrey, brothers, Edward, William, John, and Albert.

Call, 9-10:30AM Thursday, Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Interment W/ Military Honors, Parish Cemetery, Cherryville Road, Northampton.
