Alice I. Potteiger

Alice I. (Chimich) Potteiger, 83, of Lime Kiln Road, Allentown, S. Whitehall Twp, formerly of Slatington, died Sunday morning, August 19, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Inpatient Unit, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Theodore R. Potteiger, Jr. who passed in 2006. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late George and Lillian (Nagle) Chimich.

Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She attended the former Egypt United Church of Christ, Whitehall Twp, and was a life member of the ladies auxiliary VFW, Walnutport Post.

Survivors: daughter, Donna L. wife of Michael Shipwash with whom she resided. 4 grandchildren. 7 great-grandchildren. sister, Mrs. Ruthann Schmidt of Pennsville. 2 nieces. 2 nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Debra L.
