Althea B. Fritz

Althea B. (Brown) Fritz , 90, of Maury Road, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, October 20, 2021, at Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Tamaqua.  She was the wife of the late Marvin A. Fritz who passed in 2000.  Born in Franklin Township, she was a daughter of the late George and Laura Brown.

Althea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She was a 1949 graduate of the Lehighton High School, and a member of the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.

Survivors: Daughter, Kyle A. wife of Richard Smith of Lehighton.  2 granddaughter, Kelcie of California, PA, and Amy Smith of State College.  Nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sister, Betty Wasilkowski, and a brother, Lester.

Services: Private Graveside Services.  Interment, Ben Salem Cemetery, Lehighton, East Penn Township, Pennsylvania.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235.  Online Condolences may be left for the family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
