Althea J. Rinker-Beil

Althea J. Rinker - Beil of Bethlehem, PA, formerly of Coplay, PA and Allen Twsp, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at CedarBrook-Fountain Hill Annex in Bethlehem, PA. Born September 6, 1921 in Seemsville -Allen Twsp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Elmer W. Fogelman and the late Minnie L. (Anthony) Fogelman. She was the wife of the late Roland T. Rinker who passed away in 1988 and the late Harold J. Beil who passed in 2002.

Althea was a well known Beautician owning and operating the former Althea Rinker Beauty Shop, Weaversville/Northampton, PA for over 28 years until retiring in 1986. She was a long time member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Howertown/ Allen Twsp., PA. She was a former member of A.A.R.P. both Slatington and Northampton groups, former member of the former Harmony Grange, Northampton, member of the former Northampton Senior Ladies, and longtime member of the O.E.S. Rose Croix Chapter #235, Northampton, PA.

Survivors: She is survived by her son, Roger R. Rinker and wife Nancy of Walnutport, PA, Son-in-law, Robert Galler of Bethlehem, PA; step-son Glenn Beil and wife Linda of Coplay, PA, 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren, a step-granddaughter and 2 step-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters, Kay L. Fritz in 2018 and Nancy K. Galler in 2023, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Services: A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday August 24, 2026 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067 with her son, the Rev. Roger R. Rinker officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services.
