Alton L. Green,
81, of Wintergreen Road, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Wednesday evening, February 7, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital - Palmerton Campus. Born in Howertown, Allen Township, he was a son of the late Lloyd M. and Alberta (King) Green.
Alton was employed as an equipment operator for Eastern Industries until retiring. Previously, he worked as a crane operator for the Charles Yale Company. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Albrightsville.
Survivors:
Daughters, Kim Benner of Palmerton, Sherry Green and fiancé Karl Jacobs of St. Augustine, Florida. Sons, Darryl and wife Mary Green, Mitch Green and companion Vicky Haines, all of Walnutport, Tracey Green of Petersville, Mike and wife Jyneal Green of Little Gap. 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Audrey Bartholomew, Clara wife of Charles Shupp, Eileen wife of Joseph Bauer, Lydia wife of Robert Neff, all of Palmerton. Brother-in-law, Lenny Breiner of Palmerton. Longtime companion, Ms. Dorothy Dunbar with whom he resided. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Drew. Sister, Janet Breiner, and his brother, Clayton.
