Amelia B. Gogle

Amelia B. Gogle, 85 of Coplay-N. Whitehall Twsp., PA, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, PA. Born March 31, 1936 in Whitehall- Egypt, PA, she was the daughter of the late Sergio Lotti and the late Cleo (Grandi) Lotti. She was the wife of the late Roger A. Gogle, Sr. who passed away in August 2015.

Amelia was last employed as a cook for Lehigh County Community College, for 5 years before retiring in 1998. Prior to she worked for the former Ziatyk's Market, Whitehall-Egypt, PA. for several years. Before that, she and her husband ran Roger's Country Store in Laurys Station, PA for 5 years. She began her working career as a sewing machine operator for the I.L.G.W.U. working in various mills throughout the Lehigh Valley. She was a long time member of St. John's U.C.C. Church, Laurys Station,PA.

Surviving are sons, Roger A. Gogle, Jr. and wife Julia of Coplay, PA and Ronald A. Gogle and wife Susan of Rochester, NY; 3 grandchildren; Timothy, Jennifer wife of Clint Lester, and Amanda. 2 great-granddaughters, Hailey and Caroline.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road Laurys Station, PA. 18059 with the Rev. Dr. James T. Gottwald officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services in the Church. Interment will follow in St. John's U.C.C. Cemetery, Laurys Station, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with her arrangements.
