Andrew V. Leh, 89, of Palmer Township, passed away on, Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Arden Courts of Old Orchard. Born Monday, February 15, 1937 in Easton, he was the only child of the late Andrew S. and Violet (VanNatta) Leh. He and his wife Beatrice (Knecht) Leh were married on November 29, 1957.

A 1955 graduate of Nazareth High School, he played football for his father-coach Andy Leh and participated in other sports as well. He graduated from Gettysburg College where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and was a starter for the Gettysburg wrestling team. While at Gettysburg, he was a member of the Army ROTC and commissioned a Second Lieutenant. After graduation, he began his career with Bell Telephone of PA, Wilkes Barre. Shortly thereafter, he went on active duty with the Army at Dort Ben Harrison, Indiana and Fort Dix, NJ, After active duty, while working at Bell Telephone, he joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, 28th Infantry Division, followed by a stint in the Army Reserve, retiring after 23 years of service with the rank of Major. His career with Bell continued i many locations in Pennsylvania, including 18 years in the Harrisburg area, and completed his career at AT&T in Bedminster, NJ as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Engineering. While at AT&T, he returned to the Lehigh Valley and became active in many community sports, and church activities. He was a member of Nazareth Moravian Church, where he served as Elder, Trustee, a member of the Diener Corps, Rummage Sale Committee, and former Chair of the Investment Committee. He was also served on the board of directors of Moravian Hall Square Retirement Community, a member of the Palmer Township Kiwanis Club, Nazareth High School Hall of Fame Committee, Retired Military Officers of America, and Whitfield Lodge, No. 622, F&AM, Tatamy. An avid and sports and wrestling fan, he followed Nazareth Area High School and Lehigh University teams, attending many matches and tournaments, including several NCAA wrestling finals. After retiring, he was able to spend more time pursuing his love of skiing, continuing to do so into his 80's, enjoying many trips to Vermont, western U.S. and his first love, skiing in Europe. Many memorable summers were spent with friends at their summer home on Grenell Island in the Thousand Islands, NY.

In addition to his wife, Bea, he is survived by his sons Andrew S. Leh of Dover, PA and Konrad T. Leh of Santa Barbara, CA, sister-in-law, Marian Smith of Nazareth and nephews.

Services: The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Nazareth Moravian Church, 4 S. Main Street, Nazareth. Interment will follow at the Nazareth Moravian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nazareth Moravian Church Cemetery Fund or the Moravian Historical Society, both in care of the Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home 211 East Center Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
