Andrew Sayuk,
96, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died Thursday afternoon, January 4, 2018, at the Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of Kathleen R. (Scott) Sayuk since October 6, 1951. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Theodore and Tekla (Magierka) Sayuk.
Andrew was employed as a letter carrier for the US Post Office, Palmerton, for 32 years retiring in 1985. He was a 1939 graduate of the Palmerton High School. An Army Veteran of WWII, he served his country honorably in both the European and Pacific Theatre, and achieved the rank of Tech 4.
Survivors:
Wife, Kathleen. Sons, Keith of Harleysville, Thomas and wife Nancy of Centennial, CO, Mark and wife Svetlana of Reading, MA, David and wife Sharon of Freehold NJ. 3 grandsons, Alexander, Matthew, and Christopher. Nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 5 sisters, and a brother.
