Anna M. Bowman

Anna M. (George) Lipics-Bowman , 98, formerly of Aquashicola, and Walnutport, died Thursday morning, January 4, 2024 at The Palmerton Personal Care Home.  She was the wife of the late William Lipics who passed in 1966, and the late Robert F. Bowman who passed in 2015.  Born in Aquashicola, Lower Towamensing Twp., she was a daughter of the late Irvin L. Sr., and Eva I. (Strohl) George.

Anna was employed as a clerk by the former Shipman's Pharmacy, Palmerton and also as a sales clerk for her late husband at the former Lipics Appliance Store, Palmerton.  She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Towamensing, Palmerton.

Survivors: Sons, Joel G. and wife Connie Lipics of Brownsville, TX, Jeffrey S. Lipics of Palm Bay, FL, and Roger W. and wife Judy Lipics of Nazareth, PA.  Stepdaughters, Doris wife of Charles Kemp of Lansdale, and Eileen F. wife of Jerry Meyers of Souderton.  7 grandchildren.  10 great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a sister, Arlene Kuehner, and brother, Irvin L. George, Jr.
