Anna C. Everett

Anna C. (LaRose) Everett , 92, Interchange Road, Lehighton, passed away on August 8, 2022. She was the wife of the late Melvin S.J. Everett who passed in 2017. Born in Franklin Twp., she was a daughter of the late Morris H. and Grace C. (Frable) LaRose.

Anna was a 1947 graduate of Lehighton High School and 1950 graduate of the Palmerton Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at the Palmerton Hospital and Gnaden Huetten Hospital. She was co-owner of the former Mel Everett Furniture Inc. for 27 years and retired in 1986. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and former member of Franklin Twp. Lioness Club. She enjoyed roller skating at the family rink, and a lifetime of traveling, camping, joke telling, and country dancing.

Survivors: Daughters, Melanne K. wife of Bruce Feiner of Seneca, SC, Susan J. wife of Donald Silfies, and Lori G. of Lehighton. Son, Drew M. and wife Julie of Palmerton. 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Brother, M. Herbert LaRose of Lehighton.  Sister, Marian A. May of Walnutport.  Uncle, Franklin Frable of Lehighton.  Nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by sister, Carolyn M. Koch, and baby brothers, John and Allen.
