Anna L. Frederick

Anna L. "Mamaw" Frederick, 94 of Upper Macungie, PA, passed away on December 22, 2022, at her residence in Upper Macungie, PA, surrounded by her loving family. Born July 30, 1928 in Coplay, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and late Carrie Steckel. She was the wife of the late Edgar Frederick, with whom she had shared 62 loving years of marriage with.

Anna started her working career at Allison Manufacturing Co. as a seamstress. She then went on to work as a Cook in her husband's restaurant, the Sports Page Bar and Grill for 41 years before retiring in 2019. Outside of cooking and enjoying the Sports Bar, Anna loved sports, often watching the Phillies, Patriots, NASCAR and golf. She enjoyed gambling, frequenting casinos to play the slots, and often buying lottery tickets. Anna cherished spending time outside, at the beach taking in the salt air, working in her flower and vegetable garden, enjoying the company of her Koi fish pond, and playing with the family dog, Zoe.

Surviving are sons, Terry Frederick and wife Noreen of Upper Macungie PA, and Barry Frederick and wife Atsuko of Fort Walden Beach FL, grandchildren, Jason Frederick and wife Chrissy, of Bethlehem PA, Kristy Grimshaw, and husband Scott of Marco Island FL, Michelle Krupka and partner Tim of Whitehall, PA, Ken Frederick of Fort Walden Beach FL, Sean Forte and wife Jen of Martinsburg WV, and Jennifer Forte of Upper Macungie PA, greatgrandchildren Carli, Caitlyn, Jason, Gracie, Taylor, Joshua, Kai, Giovanni, and Nora, sister, Mildred Christman and husband Edwin of Northampton PA.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on January 9th, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA, 18067. Interment will follow at Coplay Cemetery, Coplay, PA.
