Anna I. Kowalchuk

Anna I. Kowalchuk, 85, formerly of Whitehall, died on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. Born August 28, 1932 in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Edwin F. and the Martha M. (Lazarus) Worman and wife of the late George Kowalchuk. She was employed by Sears & Roebuck Company, Whitehall as a salesperson for seventeen years before retiring.

She is survived by sons, George P. Kowalchuk of Northampton, Charles W. Kowalchuk and wife Kathy of Fairborn, OH, daughter, Donna wife of Richard Stonage of Coplay, grandchildren, George, Deborah, Charles, Kevin, Christopher and Kyle and great granddaughter, Paige. She was predeceased by brothers, George Worman, Edwin Worman and William Worman, sisters, Ellen Worman and Minnie Oswald.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067. Interment will follow at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Northampton.
