Anna Marie Sterling

Anna Marie (Schoenberger) Sterling , 90, of Shady Lane, Kunkletown, Polk Township, died Saturday morning, July 15, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late Charles G. Sterling, Sr., who passed in 2020.  Born in Franklin Township, she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Helen A. (Oswald) Schoenberger.

Anna was employed as a seamstress by the former Barson and Bishop Co., Lehighton, and the former Winmar Fashions Co., Danielsville.  She enjoyed quilting and sewing in her spare time.

Survivors: Daughter, Laurie A. wife of Russell Meckes of Slatington.  Son, Thomas O. Sterling of Coaldale.  7 grandchildren.  5 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by daughter, Trudy L. Strohl, son, Charles R., Jr., sisters Marion, and Mae, and brothers, Levi, Richard, and Ralph.
