Annabelle I. Jones

Annabelle I. (Borger) Jones , 86, of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died early Thursday morning, February 8, 2018, at the Summit Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late Gwenlyn "Buck" E. Jones who passed in 1997.  Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Verna I. (Eckhart) Borger.

Annabelle was employed by local garment mills over the years.  She retired from the former Blue Ridge Sportswear Company, Palmerton, in 1987.  Annabelle was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Towamensing, Palmerton, and also the I.L.G.W.U.  A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors: Daughter, Beverly wife of Carl Andreas of Palmerton.  Sons, Bryan and wife Kerela Jones of Fairport, New York, Todd Jones and Fiancee Pamela of Palmerton.  7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Sister, Dorothy wife of Thomas Nothstein of Lehighton.  She was predeceased by brothers Eldon, Wilmer, Ernest, and Merlyn.

Services: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.  Call, 1:00-2:00 p.m., in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery, Trachsville.  Online Condolences may be left at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
