Annamae C. Merics

Annamae C. (Patrouch) Merics, 81, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed on Thursday morning, November 9, 2017, at Health Central Hospital, Ocoee, Florida.  She was the wife of the late Richard A. Merics since April 19, 1958.  Born in Catasauqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Lelko) Patrouch.

A 1954 graduate of Whitehall High School, she was employed as a secretary at Dun & Bradstreet, retiring in 1994.  Annamae was an accomplished baker and could often be found spending time in the kitchen.  She was a generous individual who loved her family and made instant friends with everyone she met.  A devout follower of the Lord, she was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

Survivors: Daughters, Linda Daddona wife of Frank Daddona, Jr., of Mertztown, and Carol Mistysyn of Winter Garden, FL.  Grandchildren, Tanya Mistysyn wife of Lisa Simmons, Marcus Daddona, Deanna Daddona, and Olivia Daddona.  Sister Dorothea wife of Alfred Hessinger.  She was predeceased by a son, Michael, and sister, Irene Turock.
