Anne L. Biery

Anne L. Biery , 91, of Allentown, PA passed away Tuesday, October 8, at Phoebe Nursing Home, Allentown, PA. Born December 26, 1932, in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Lizzie (Gogle) Biery.

She graduated from Allentown High School in 1951 and worked as a clerk at Air Products & Chemicals Inc., Trexlertown, for nearly 40 years, retiring in 1993. Anne enjoyed playing cards and watching baseball and basketball games. She was also an avid bowler from the 1950s through 1970s.

Surviving are two nieces, Mary Anne Mulligan (Edward Joseph) of Alexandria, VA, and Barbara Mulligan of Bethlehem Township, PA, nephew, Matthew Snipper of Oakland, CA, two grandnieces, three grandnephews and a great grandniece.  She was predeceased by five siblings, George Biery, Irene Bell, Warren Biery, Evelyn Mulligan and Janet Snipper.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 19, at Zion Stone Church Cemetery, 51 Church Road, Kreidersville, PA. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA, has been entrusted with her care.
