Anne Grace (McKee) Niles died peacefully at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, on April 5, 2018. She was born on August 3, 1922, in Carbondale, Illinois, the daughter of Amos Franklin McKee and Mabel Grace (Faulkner) McKee. She spent most of her childhood in Webster Groves, Missouri, moving to Columbia to attend the University of Missouri. She was the last surviving member of the 1947 graduating class of its School of Nursing. Anne spent much of her married life in Wisconsin, where she worked at the University of Wisconsin School of Nursing - Extension, and completed her Ph.D. in geriatric journalism. She and her husband retired to Missouri and moved to Pennsylvania in 2007 to be near their daughter. Anne is predeceased by her husband, Richard Davis Niles and her sister, Ruth (McKee) Gifford. She is survived by her children Susan and John (Sarah Garner) and grandchildren, Nicholas Garner Niles (Meg Kokontis) and Meredith Garner Niles. Services will be private.
