Annette L. Wargo

Annette L. (Halmi) Wargo , 83, of Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, died peacefully surrounded by her seven children late Sunday evening, November 14, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital.  She was the wife of the late G. Thomas Wargo, who passed in 2010.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen (Kralik) Halmi.

Annette was employed as a registered nurse for the Palmerton Hospital, retiring in 1994.  Previously, she worked for Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.  A 1956 graduate of the Palmerton High School, she later graduated from Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing.  Annette was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and the Palmerton Memorial Park Assoc.  A loving, caring, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, she supported her late husband and children through all Blue Bomber sporting events and activities.  She volunteered as Palmerton School District PTA Past President for many years.

Survivors: daughters, Thomasine wife of Michael Falcone, Terri wife of Aaron Sebelin, Tara wife of Jason Dinkel, all of Palmerton, Teresa Bogert, Trinette L. wife of Dr. Jon Hernandez, all of Bethlehem.  Sons, Thomas of Palmerton, Timothy of New Cumberland.  Twelve grandchildren, Mike, Matt, Thomas, Jonathan, Lindsey, Keri, Leah, Julia, Garrett, Kyle, Justin, Chase.  Two great grandsons, Joey and Josh.  Sister, Karen Black of Palmerton.  Brother, John Halmi of Oxford, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00AM Friday, Sacred Heart Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
