Anthony R. Massey

Anthony R. "Tony" Massey , 51, of Fireline Road, Palmerton, PA, died late Tuesday evening, November 19, 2024, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township, after being stricken suddenly at home.  He was the husband of Dana M. Montoya-Massey since October 12, 2006.

He was currently employed as a business manager for the United Parcel Service, Stroudsburg.  He was also the owner/operator of "My Store", Red Wing Shoes & Boots, Carhartt Apparel, in Palmerton, along with the Palmerton Flower and Gift Shop.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Raymond V. and Margaret B. (Scholander) Massey.

A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, he also volunteered as president of the St. John Neumann Regional School HSA.  Tony was also a proud active mentor of Super Human Fathers, CA.

Survivors: Surviving in addition to his widow is daughter, Valentina M. and Isabella M. Massey at home.  Sons, Blake R. Massey and his wife Angel, of Fort Worth, TX, Jake L. Massey of Kansas City, KS, and Giovanni E. Massey, Dominic A. Massey, and Maximus F.T. all at home.  Grandson, Hayden.  Sister, Donna M. wife of Kevin Kozovich of Huntington Beach, CA.  Brothers, John P. Massey, and his wife, Jessica, of Seattle, WA, and Christopher J. and Vincent J., both of Huntington Beach, CA, and Michael A. in Pennsylvania.  Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was also predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca T. Massey-Ake', who died this past January.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 243 Lafayette Avenue, Palmerton.  Future interment will be private.  No calling hours.  Holy Rosary recitation, 10:30 a.m., Wednesday in the church.  Arrangements by Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton.  Online condolences may be left for his family at: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com .
