Arleen M. Showak

Arleen M. (Nightwine) Showak , 93, formerly of 4th Street, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, January 13, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  She was the wife of the late Walter Showak who passed in 1991.  Born in Tarentum, Allegheny County, she was a daughter of the late Alvadore and Tresa (Thuerl) Nightwine.

Arleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  In her early years, she was employed as a visiting nurse.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.

Survivors: Daughter, Lauren M. Showak of Meriden, CT.  Sons, Gregory A. and wife Katherine of Quakertown, and Christopher J. and wife Kathryn of Slatington.  Grandsons, Michael, and Scott.  Sister, Joan Parshook of New Kensington, Westmoreland County.  2 nephews, Bruce, and Tenley.  She was predeceased by sister, Aldora Muir, and a niece.
