Arlene M Siegfried

Arlene M. Siegfried, 97 of Wind Gap, PA. formerly of Nazareth, PA. died Sunday, April 3, 2016, at St. Luke''s Hospital - Anderson Campus in Easton, PA. Born March 7, 1918 in Moore Twsp., PA. she was the daughter of the late Russell Seip and the late Emma (Williamson) Dornblaser, and step-daughter to the late William Dornblaser. She was the wife of the late Daniel R. Siegfried who passed away in December 1994. A 1936 graduate of Nazareth High School, Arlene worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Sportette Industries, Bath, PA. for 18 years before retiring. Prior to Sportette Ind., she worked as a clerk in the U.S. Post Office, Bath, PA. for several years. She was a member of St. John''s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nazareth , PA where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, member of the Altar Society and the Rebecca Circle. She love to travel with the Nazareth L.O.R.A. club. She is survived by her Daughter-in-law; Natalie J. Siegfried, Nazareth, PA.; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Curtis R. Siegfried in 2004, and Craig D. Siegfried in 2000.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday April 8, 2016 at St. John''s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Broad & Prospect Sts. Nazareth, PA. 18064, with the Rev. David B. Schaeffer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, prior to the services in the church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth, PA. Arrangements are under the care of Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center St. Nazareth, PA. 18064
