Arlene M. Wilk

Arlene M. (Eck) Wilk , 93, formerly of W. Bowmans, E. Penn Twp., died peacefully Thursday morning, April 28, 2022, at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehab. Center, Lehighton, PA.  She was the wife of the late George W. Wilk who passed in 2003.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Clara (Tartar) Eck.

Arlene was employed as a trimmer by various garment mills in the Lehighton area for many years.  Previously, she was employed by the former Segals by the Bridge Dept. Store, Palmerton, and the former Rex's Country Store, Ashfield.  Arlene was a member of Dinkey Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ashfield, the E. Penn Twp. Vol. Fire Co., and the Willing Workers Group, W. Bowmans.  She was an avid bingo player.

Survivors: Daughter, Donna M. wife of Terry L. Carrigan of Lehighton.  Son, George R. and wife Holly of Lehighton.  5 grandchildren. 2 great-grandchildren. 1 great-great-granddaughter.  Nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a grandson, a great-grandson, and sister, Dorothy Ahner.

Services: Memorial Services, 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2022, Dinkey Memorial Lutheran Church, PO Box 250-1742 Dinkey Road, Ashfield, PA 18212.  call, 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday in church.  Interment, Church Cemetery, E.
