Arline J. Banas , 78, of Hahn's Dairy Road, Palmerton, PA, died Wednesday afternoon, November 30, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.  Born in Anniston, AL, she was a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Tokarz) Banas.

Arline was employed as a paralegal for the former Martin Phillip, Esq., Palmerton, and as a typist for Pinebrook Service for Children and Youth.  Arline was also owner/operator of Storm Haven Kennels, dog grooming, and boarding kennels, Lower Towamensing Twp.  A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, she served as Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and past president of Palmerton Prolife Council.  She was also a lay missionary of The Sacred Heart, and a prayer associate.  Arline had a great love of all animals and enjoyed entering her collies in dog shows, and also was a skilled horseback rider.  She was a member of the Allentown Kennel Club, past president of the Carbon Animal Rights and Education Society, and the Pennsylvania Earth Science Assoc.  Arline enjoyed collecting gems, minerals, fossils, boating on Beltzville Lake, and was a reader of novels.  She was an exceptional cook and baker.

Survivors: Sister, Joann Banas with whom she resided.  Uncle, Eugene Banas of E. Rutherford, NJ.  Several cousins, and friends.
