Arthur H. Frye

Arthur H. Frye, 81 passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Born February 3, 1941 in Stoneycreek Township, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John and Ruth (Baughman) Frye. He and his wife Margaret J. "Peggy" Frye were married on May 4, 1963.

He worked as a Lineman Foreman for PP & L for 42 years before retiring in 2001. Arthur was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall. He was also a member of Jordan-Martin Lodge No. 673 F&AM, Allentown, Lehigh Consistory, Allentown, and the Rajah Temple.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Arthur H. Frye, Jr. and wife Kerri, daughter, Lori A. wife of Rob Wintz, granddaughter, Becky, wife of Lou Geiser, grandson, C.J. Stackhouse, great granddaughter, Gigi, brother, John Frye, sisters, Audra Fosbrink and Eileen wife of Barry Baer, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Thomas Frye, and Richard Frye, and sister, Annalea Bingman.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a 12:00 PM memorial service, all on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Shepherd Of The Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Whitehall, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lehigh Valley Hospice in care of the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
