Arthur "Butch" L. Sliker

Arthur "Butch" L. Sliker , 82, of Kenvil, NJ, Morris County, died peacefully late Monday evening, June 27, 2022 at his daughter's residence in Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, PA.  He was the husband of the late Marie F. (Mills) Sliker who passed in 2009.  Born in Dover, NJ, he was a son of the late Arthur Sliker and Elsie (Peer) Hill.

Butch was employed as a foreman for Ganter's Paving Company, Randolph, NJ.  Previously, he was an arborist and tree cutter in NJ.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting fishing, and spending time with family.

Survivors: Daughters, Amanda M. Glasser of Palmerton, Patricia Sliker of Scranton, Debra Sliker-Chudley of Rockaway, NJ, and April Valentine of Kenvil, NJ. Son, Arthur A. Sliker, Jr. of Kenvil, NJ.  9 grandchildren Michael, Beth, Anthony, Lisa, Connor, Devin, Mark Jr., Ally, and Annmarie.  5 great-grandchildren, Fraya, Madison, Logan, Keegan, and Allison.  Sister, Barbara Smith of Franklin, NJ.  Brothers, Lawrence A., Jr. and wife Rhonda Hill of Succasunna, NJ, and Theodore and wife Barbara Hill of Washington Township, NJ.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by stepfather, Lawrence A. Hill, Sr., and a sister, Caroline Post.
