Arthur E. Van Nostrand, Jr.

Arthur E. Van Nostrand, Jr., 92, of Winter Mountain Road, Mahoning Township, Andreas, Pennsylvania, died peacefully late Tuesday evening, September 13, 2016, at Summit Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. He was the husband of Doris M. Van Nostrand since August 4, 1973. Born in Glen Cove, Long Island, New York, he was a son of the late Arthur E., Sr. and Susie M. (Voorhest) Van Nostrand.
Arthur was employed as a salesman for Weichel Buick, Inc., Stroudsburg, for over 20 years, retiring in 2005. He was an Episcopalian. A US Army Veteran of WWII, he served stateside with the DEML Section, Enlisted Detachment in 1943.
Survivors: Wife, Doris. Children.
Services are private and will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
Contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
