Astor Lee Howell

A. Lee Howell , 79, of Hillside Place, Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Twp., Carbon County, PA, died peacefully Tuesday morning, August 9, 2022, in his home.  He was the husband of Debra A. (Benedetto) Howell since September 22, 2005.  Born in Staten Island, NY, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Alice (Hage) Howell.

Lee was employed as a New York City Fireman, Squad #5, Manhattan, and member of the NYC Fireman's Assoc.  He attended the House on the Rock Church, Wind Gap.  A Marine Corps Veteran, Vietnam Era, he achieved the rank of Cpl (E-4). May you rest in peace Lee as life was quite a struggle for you here on earth.  Amen.

Survivors: Wife.  Daughter, Alice L. wife of Dennis Martin of Matawan, NJ.  son, Jason Howell.  Stepdaughter, Nicole Jensen-Guellnitz.  Stepsons, Joe Guellnitz, and Johnny Jensen.  Grandsons, Kyle, and Zack Van Pelt.
