Audrey J. Gruver

Audrey J. Gruver , 95, of Cementon PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Harry R. and Ruth G. (Peters) Gruver.

She was a graduate of Whitehall High School, Kutztown State College, and Lehigh University. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa sorority for women educators. She was a reading specialist, teaching in the Allentown School District for over 40 years. She was a member of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Cementon PA.

Survivors : Sister Hope L. Gruver, Nephew Randy R. Teets and his wife Cindi, niece Lois H., wife of Dennis C. Hower, great-nieces Sarah R. Teets and Juliet L. Hower, great-nephew Jeff A. Teets, all of Whitehall, step great-nephew, Daniel C. Hower, and his wife Melanie, of Bristol, PA, and treasured friend, Sandy Bachman, of Allentown. She was predeceased by her nephew, Jeffrey T. Teets.

Services : were held privately. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton PA, was entrusted with her care and service.
