Barbara A. Bilder

Barbara A. Bilder, 80 of Northampton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at her home.  Born June 29, 1937 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Ondrejca and the late Nancy (Stetch) Ondrejca.  She was the wife of Donald A. Bilder, Sr. with whom she shared 60 years of marriage this past November 16, 2017.

Barbara was last employed in the shipping department of Russell Stover Candy's, Allentown, PA for 25 years until retiring in 1999.  A member of Assumption B.V.M. R. C. Church, Northampton, she formerly assisted with administrative duties and was instrumental in starting the church's Library.  She was formerly active with the Northampton Athletic Association, assisting with concession sales and many fundraisers both at the High School and Allentown Fairgrounds.  She was a former member of the St. Peter and Paul Hungarian Society, Northampton, Thurs. Night Ladies Bowling League for many years.  She was also a member of the B.C.T. Union of Allentown.

Survivors: Surviving along with her husband Donald, Sr.; daughter, Donna A. Knoblach and companion Sam Weirback of Northampton, PA; son, Donald A. Bilder, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL; brother, Richard Stetch of Northampton, PA; a grandson, Keith Knoblach, a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn, and a faithful pet, Roscoe.  She was predeceased by brother, Ronald S. Ondrejca in 2003.

Services: Funeral services were held privately on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Online Condolences: www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
