Barbara J. Caserta

Barbara J. (Mattson) Caserta, 72, of Woodland Road, Walnutport, Lehigh Township, Pennsylvania, died peacefully late Friday evening, August 10, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of William J. Caserta since July 21, 1968. Born in Englewood, Bergen County, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Edith (Ashe) Mattson.

Barbara was employed by the Lehigh Valley Health Network in the patient education/administrative departments, for 25 Years. Also, she and her husband owned and operated Business Services Unlimited, Emmaus, for 23 years, retiring in 2012. Barbara was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville. Over the years she enjoyed being a volunteer for Lehigh Valley Hospice.

Survivors: husband, William. Daughter, Denise L. wife of Roger Straub of Walnutport. Sons, Steven W. and wife Trenace M. Caserta of Walnutport, David J. Caserta and fiancée Leanne Koder of Bath. 5 grandchildren, Danielle, Kyleigh, Luren, Brielle, and Braedon. Sisters, Linda wife of Fred Schild of Palm Coast, FL, and, Kathleen Creamer of Saddle River, New Jersey.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30AM Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 1152 Oak Road, Walnutport (Berlinsville), PA 18088. Call, 7-8:30PM Monday, August 13, 2018 and 9-10:00AM Tuesday, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
