Barbara A. Fairfield

Barbara A. Fairfield , 76 of Washington Township, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born October 19, 1948 in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Cora (Buskirk) Grube and wife of the late Joseph J. Fairfield.

She worked as a daytime cleaning specialist at The Swain School, Allentown for the past 25 years and was a member of Christ UCC Little Moore Church. Barbara was a devoted wife of 48 years, mother, Grammy, aunt, sister, fur Grammy, and friend. Loyal and unselfish to the very end, dedicated and hard working, but willing to stop and chat over coffee and enjoyed country music.

She is survived by daughters, Jodi A. Cesanek of Whitehall, and Sherry L. wife of Rickie Kostenbader Jr. of Danielsville, son, Todd J. Fairfield and wife Alice of Slatington, brother, Howard Grube and wife Cindy of Danielsville, sisters, Carolyn Grube of Bath, and Elaine wife of Peter Bohun of Danielsville, grandchildren, Lauren, wife of Gino Warnick, and Cody Harrich. She was predeceased by son-in law, Michael Cesanek, brothers, Roy "Jake" Grube, Charles Grube, Alan Grube and sisters, Eleanor Dries and Linda Zydyk.

Services: The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service, all on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or the Outcast Rescue, both in care of the funeral home.
