Barbara A. Horwith

Barbara A. (Wisocky) Horwith , 82, of Wintergreen Road, Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, PA, died early Friday evening, November 14, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Lehighton.  She was the wife of the late Richard D. Horwith who passed in 1977.  Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Eleanor (Beers) Wisocky.

Barbara was employed as a presser/trimmer by the former Scotty's Fashions Company, Kresgeville, for over 20 years.  Barbara attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton, and was a longtime member of the I.L.G.W.U.  She was a 1961 graduate of the Palmerton High School.

Survivors: Daughters, Denise wife of Randy Silfies of Walnutport, and Heather wife of Frank Chambers of Lehighton.  3 grandchildren.  7 great-grandchildren.  Sisters-in-law, Helen Solderitz of Slatington, and Christine Olivia Wisocky of Palmerton.  Niece, Melissa Olivia Wisocky of Palmerton.  Nephew, Joshua Jones of Cape Coral, FL.  Cousins.  She was predeceased by two grandchildren, a sister, Robin Wisocky, and a brother, Theodore "Tedder" Wisocky.
