Barbara J. Silliman

Barbara J. (Oswald) Silliman , 71, formerly of Nesquehoning, and Lansford, Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday morning, January 15, 2020, at Weatherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly.  She was the wife of the late Donald R. Silliman who passed in 2007.  Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Irene (Dornblaser) Oswald.

Barbara was employed by Tru Value Hardware, Nesquehoning.  Previously, she worked for both AC Moore and Walmart, both of Whitehall, PA.  She attended St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Towamensing, Palmerton.  Barbara was a 1966 graduate of the Slatington High School.

Survivors: Sons, Daniel J. Silliman and fiancée Tracy Miller of Lansford, Troy S. and wife Robin Silliman of Pocono Summit.  Sister, Karen wife of Miles Hunsicker of Slatington.  Brother, William and wife Angela Oswald of Reading.  Nieces and nephews.
