Barry V. Frable

Barry V. Frable, 71 of Lehighton, PA, passed away March 9, 2022, at Pennsburg Manor in Pennsburg, PA. Born December 27, 1950 in East Stroudsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur G. Frable and the late Arlene B. (Moyer) Frable. He was the husband of the late Charlene C. (Coleman) Frable who passed away December 2015.

Barry was a 1972 graduate of East Stroudsburg University earning a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He went on to teach Mathematics and Computer Science for grades 10-12 for the Northampton Area School District for 27 years before retiring in 1999. Barry was the former Rifle Instructor for the High School for years. He served as an instructor for many years at Boy Scout Camp Trexler, Minsi Trail Council. Barry also owned and operated Frable's Home & Yard Works, Lehighton, PA for 8 years. He had a great love of the outdoors and enjoyed his hunting and fishing.

Barry is survived by sisters, Susan E. Borger wife of Eric of Northampton, PA and Debra wife of Robert Citrullo of Camden, SC., Aunt, Mrs. Doris Kemmerer of E. Stroudsburg, PA., nieces, nephews, cousins, and his canine companion Dozer. He was predeceased by a brother Michael, niece Michaela, great nephew Noah.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067 with the Rev. Gary L. Walbert officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will follow in Altona Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA.
