Barry L. Miller,
48, of Court Street, Lehighton, Franklin Township, Pennsylvania, died suddenly Tuesday, August 21, 2018, in his home. He was the husband of Darlene J. (Dunbar) Miller. Barry and Darlene were married on December 4, 2000 in Miami, FL aboard the Norwegian Majesty with family and friends. Born in Coaldale, Schuylkill County, he was a son of Ronald Miller of Tamaqua, and the late Margaret (Mertz) Miller, who passed in September of 2017.
Barry was employed as an auto mechanic for Bennett Family Dealerships, Lehighton. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for Lehighton Ford. He was a Senior Master Technician. He was a 1987 graduate of the Tamaqua High School, where he was a member of the swim team. He also attended The Ford Asset Program and was the top of his 1995 graduating class. He later served his country honorably in the Coast Guard, Gulf War Era, and achieved the rank of MK2 E-5. Barry was an avid lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. He enjoyed playing pool for several leagues.
