Barry L. Molnar

Barry L. Molnar , 72, of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, with family by his side at Heather Glen Senior Living in Allentown, PA. Born on November 26,1951, in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late John Molnar, Sr. and the late Dorothy (Kohler) Molnar. He was the husband of Penny L. (McCandless) Molnar, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage this past June.

Barry was a 1969 graduate of Northampton Senior High School and went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Business & Economics from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA in 1973. In 1978 he achieved his M.B.A. from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. Barry was last employed at Air Products & Chemical Corp., Allentown, PA, where he worked for 27 years before retiring in 2009. Previously, he was an auditor for 9 years with the General Accounting Office in Washington, DC.

Surviving along with his wife, Penny, are daughters, Emily A., wife of John Cupples of Coopersburg, PA and Anne E., wife of Jeffrey Bauder of Slatington, PA; 4 grandchildren; Hailey and Connor, Mason and Alice. He was predeceased by brother, John Molnar, Jr. in 2022.

Funeral services will be private. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067. has been entrusted with  his care and services.
