Beatrice M. Burbes

Beatrice M. Burbes , 104, of Tamaqua, formerly of Slatington and Lehighton, died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Hometown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Tamaqua. Born July 17, 1912, in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Carrie (Kern) West and wife of the late Allen Fritzinger and the late Lewis Burbes.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.

Survivors: She is survived by son, Bruce R. and wife Charlotte Fritzinger of Lehighton, and good friend Florence Schiffert of Lehigh Township. She was predeceased by son, Elmer L. Fritzinger and all of her brothers and sisters.

Services: The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton.  Interment will follow at Indianland Cemetery, Cherryville.
