Beatrice "Beaty" Ann (Ruch) Christoff, 76, of Newport Avenue, Northampton, PA, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed peacefully into the merciful arms of her Savior Jesus Christ early Wednesday morning, June 17, 2026, in her home. She was the beloved wife of Stanley F. Christoff since October 3, 1969. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Frances I. (Smith) Ruch.

Beaty's faith was central to her life. She was baptized, confirmed, and a lifelong member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Howertown; which was built by the Ruch family in 1835. At church she was a Sunday School teacher a Treasurer, and a member of the handbell choir. She graciously crocheted baby hats and adult chemo hats for the church, which were later donated to area hospitals. She took great pleasure in using her many talents to give back to others.

At an early age, Beaty developed her talents to cook, bake, and sew through the local 4-H Club. She won several ribbons in the Merchant's Bank Doll contest and was awarded 214 ribbons in the Great Allentown Fair for her unique creations: including two prestigious awards for Best of Show. She was also very proud of winning The Morning Call's Hess' Strawberry Pie contest back in 2000.

Beaty was a 1967 graduate of Northampton Area High School, where she later became an organizer and secretary of the class reunion committee. She also attended the Northampton Community College in Bethlehem. She was initially employed by PPL Electric Utilities as a secretary and then later as a computer analyst, working for over 28 years before retiring in 2008. She was also employed by ComCom, Allentown Hospital Medical Records, Fulton Piano and Organ, Wanamaker's Sandra's Bridal, Nancy Galler's Bridal, and taught jewelry design & crochet techniques at A.C. Moore, Michaels, and the Cancer Center.
