Betty W. Gegeckas

Betty W. Gegeckas , 96, of Palmerton, PA, passed on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Scenic View Personal Care in Palmerton.  She was daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Dilkus) Wagner, and wife of the late Joseph Gegeckas.

She was a Registered Nurse for the Bristol Township School District for thirty years, before retiring in 1994. She enjoyed playing with her Bridge Club and was an avid reader. Betty cherished the 65+ summers she spent at her beach house in Ortley Beach, NJ.

Survivors: She is survived by sons, Joseph and wife Deborah Gegeckas of Atlantic City, NJ, Blaise T. and wife Cynthia Gegeckas of Palmerton, and Richard Gegeckas of Newtown.  Sisters, Loretta Wurm of Cocoa Beach, FL and Madeline Graneri, of Rahway, NJ. Six grandchildren, Jackelyn Gemenden, Jayme Glawson, Blaise Joseph Gegeckas, Anastasia Teisler, Blaise Robert Gegeckas, and Joseph Gegeckas.  Three great-grandchildren.

Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
