Betty J. George

Betty J. (Christman) George , 92, of Colony Drive, Bethlehem, E. Allen Twp, died peacefully early Friday afternoon, November 24, 2023, at Renaissance Personal Care Home, Northampton. She was the wife of Mr. Larry R. George. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Milton A. and Eva (Rothrock) Christman-Shook.

Betty was employed as an LPN for the Allentown General Hospital. Previously, she worked for the former R and S Printing Co., Northampton, and as a secretary for Skrapits Law Office, Northampton. Betty was a 1949 graduate of the Northampton High School. She was a life member of the State PTA. and past president of the Northampton Elementary Parent Teachers Assoc. She was also a board member of the Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville.

Survivors: husband. daughters, Diane C. wife of Stephen Weslosky, and Susan Reed, all of Northampton. grandson, Bruce, Jr. and wife Mandee Millheim of E. Allen Twp. 3 great granddaughters, Haleigh, Olivia, and Maggie. 2 great-great grandchildren, Nico, and Kora.
