Betty L. Gombotsh

Betty L. Gombotsh, 87 of Coplay, PA died on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Whitehall Manor in Whitehall, PA. Born on June 25, 1931 in Bath, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Bogarosh and the late Daisy (Druckenmiller) Bogarosh. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Gombotsh, who passed away on August 21, 2018.

Betty was employed by Wood Company at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, PA, as a Dietary Aide for 20 years until retiring in 2009. Prior to that, she worked for 23 years as the first female forklift operator at the former Capital Records in Bethlehem, PA. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Coplay and was active in many local senior organizations.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Beverly A. Gessner of Northampton, PA, daughter-in-law, Carol Nemeth of Whitehall, PA, step-son, Michael Gombotsh of Allentown, PA, 4 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Joseph Nemeth, brother, John Bogarosh, sister, Joyce Jackson, son-in-law, Todd Gessner and granddaughter, Amanda.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00am at Allen Union Cemetery, located at 4th and Main Streets, Northampton, PA 18067. Arrangements are under the care of Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067.
