Beverly A. Rutt

Beverly A. (Hanke) Rutt , 71, of Lehighton, PA, formerly of Blairstown NJ, died peacefully Saturday morning, February 12, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.  She was the wife of Stanley Rutt, Jr., since June 30, 1977.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Claire (White) Hanke.

Beverly worked in food service throughout the Lehigh Valley.  Previously, she worked as a nurse's aide and a unit clerk by the Newton Hospital, NJ.  She attended North Warren High School.  Beverly enjoyed teaching Sunday School, and had a love of all wildlife and domestic animals.

Survivors: Husband.  Daughter, Kimberly A. wife of Mark Gossy of Lehighton.  Son, Thomas A. Lord of Moscow, PA.  12 grandchildren, Christina, Bethany, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Melissa, Brianna, Stephen, Jeffrey, Brandan, Austin, Kaylee, and Koell.  5 great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Mia, Jace, Anastasia, and Evan. Stepdaughters, Patricia wife of Timothy Smith of FL, and Angela wife of Kenneth Fetherman of Stroudsburg.   Stepson, Stanley, III of FL.  Sister, Patricia Fisher of Willow Springs, MO.  Brothers, Charles Hanke of Jacobus, York County, PA and Frank Bauerfield, III of Rahway, NJ.  Aunt, Audrey Breece of Milltown, NJ.  Nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was predeceased by sister, Maryjane Jackson, and brother, Christopher "Chuck" Bennett, and nephew, Jeffrey Bennett, as well as her beloved Pekingese "Tawney".
