Beverly A. (Chruscz) Wisser
, 77, of 4th Street, Palmerton, Pennsylvania, died peacefully, Thursday morning, June 22, 2017, at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Norman C. Wisser who passed in 2016. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Edward, Sr. and Beatrice (Fedon) Chruscz.
Beverly was employed as a seamstress for the former Scotty's Fashions Company, Palmerton. Previously, she worked as a waitress at Mount Airy Lodge, Poconos, and in the same capacity at the former J.T. Duffy's Tavern, Palmerton. Beverly attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton. She enjoyed exercising, including biking, weightlifting, and walking.
Survivors:
Son, Jeffrey E. Wisser, of Palmerton. Daughter, Heidi A. wife of Brian Waylen of Slatington. 2 grandsons, Jacob, and Jordan. Brother, Edward Chruscz, Jr. Chadds Ford, Delaware County. 2 nieces.
Services:
Graveside Services, 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2017, Sacred Heart Old Cemetery, 3rd Street, Palmerton, PA 18071. Officiating will be Deacon Edward Girard. Arrangements are by Campton Funeral Home, Inc., 525 Delaware Avenue, Palmerton, PA 18071.
